Blend the ginger and garlic to a paste, add some oil if needed to support the blending. 1. Fry the meat separately until light brown. 1. Saute the onion together with the garlic and ginger paste, before adding the additional vegies and fry a while longer. 1. Add the tomatoes, biryani massala and salt to taste and fry some minutes more. 1. Add the rice and and meat and water and bring to a boil. Turn the heat low when boiling and give it a stir to mix everything. 1. Turn the heat off once the water is no longer visible on top of the rice and let it rest for 15 or 20 minutes before serving.
