Sateh Sauce =


3 sjalots
3 cloves garlic
200 gram raw peanuts
1 or more chilis
1 rawits
1 tbsp gula Jawa
1 dl water
2 tsp or more kecap manis


Fry the peanuts in generous oil in wok. Cool them well. Peel the unions and cut in thin slices. Peel the garlic and remove the stems from chili and cut them small. Mash this together with the gula jawa in a stone mortar before adding the water, kecap and salt.
